I see you Qenehelo Tsokeli!!

This post is so long overdue, 8 months to be exact...sigh! But i could not let this day pass without paying tribute to this awesome lady. it is only befitting that as i join the world to celebrate women, that i start with her.

When i thought of women i could invite for tea (mind you i don't even like tea much), i had this beautiful lady in mind. If you have ever admired anyone who does not even know you, then we are on the same page. While i went to high school with her younger sister, i did not know her until we became friends on Facebook and since then i have been stalking her Facebook page.

Ms. Qenehelo ‘Makarabo Tsokeli is the Founder and President of Qenehelo Life Transformation Agency where she seeks to transform lives through Personal Transformation and Counselling for Young Adults; Diplomacy and Etiquette; Speaking and Consulting in schools, groups and one-on-one with the Youth on Career Guidance (yes, she says she went to university for the wrong reasons- she followed her boyfriend hahaha), at Youth Forums and Events.

Ms. Tsokeli studied Freelance Journalism and has a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the National University of Lesotho. She is a former Diplomat and was responsible for Culture and Consular issues, Trade and Tourism in countries such as Germany, Austria, France, Monaco and also covered the Vatican. She continues to handle Economic and Trade related issues with her current employer, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations. Her love for life, and appreciation for Cultural Diversity, has prompted her extensive travel to countries like Cambodia, India, Thailand, the The United States, United Kingdom and Czeck Republic, Jamaica, Egypt, Burkina faso, Kenya, Rwanda and Zambia among others.

She is the Kingdom of Lesotho’s own Peace Keeping Expert in the making, and has co- facilitated in a series of such Trainings with the SADC Regional Peace-keeping Training Centre in Harare Zimbabwe.

If you know me then you will know that i think it is a tragedy that a woman can be beautiful but have no brains. And not only does this woman have both beauty and brains, she is grounded and led by the word of God, something i am very biased to (yes i admit). Not only am i encouraged by the work she does, i actually look forward to her Facebook posts for motivation.

The book of proverbs taks about how favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears the LORD, she shall be praised. And as far as i'm concerned, Qenehelo Tsokeli deserves praise!
